The Forge Restaurant in Chester
Situated in the heart of the historic Roman town of Chester is the Forge.
With a passion for wild, sustainable British ingredients, and a love of simple cooking over fire and charcoal, The Forge has its kitchen front and centre in the middle of the lovely, elegant space. Incredible dry aged beef and wild venison will be found in the maturation cabinets, awaiting their turn on the amazing forge grill, there to be lovingly grilled and roasted over oak and beech logs.
Head chef, Dan Regan, a passionate chef, heads up the young, vibrant team in the kitchen, combining amazing, wild, sustainable ingredients from land and sea into sumptuous creations that form really memorable eating experiences.
Breakfast
We understand how important breakfast is for a great start to any day. That is why we offer a variety of locally sourced fresh produce and a buffet with the complete Continental experience and all classic a-la-carte options cooked freshly by our skilled breakfast chefs to order.
We will also offer a selection of room service breakfast options to allow you to indulge in the ultimate breakfast in bed.
Private Dining
Located within Hotel Indigo Chester is The Den, our Private Dining room for our most exclusive experience.
Take a welcome drink in your bar before moving through to the dining room. Your personal host will be there to guide you through your tasting experience as well as providing your drinks service.
Expect bold, authentic flavours all the way through this engaging gastronomic experience – but don’t always expect us to tell you what’s on the menu until it arrives… we want you to sit back and enjoy the experience and the company you bring and engage in this secret tasting experience.
